GOING OON?

"70% of Upstream's Dental Practices are in the Process of Going OON." - Leigh Ann Faight on August 13, 2022

Metropolitan would like to thank CareCredit, Chewsi, Spark Aligners, Carestream & CitiBank for their generous sponsorship of the 2022 Met Gala.
During these inflationary times, dentists more and more want to explore going out of network. Many dentists have transitioned out of network and Metropolitan wants to present the most up-to-date analytical information and techniques to make the change as smoothly as possible. This presentation will provide a step by step approach to help dentists make the important decisions, while avoiding the most common mistakes, needed to propel the practice into a more financially rewarding orbit in today's dental care universe. Leigh Ann's presentation will include anecdotal information and experiences from local dental practices that have successfully made the transition. This meeting is open to all dentists from all districts of the MDS and non-ADA members as well. 3 CE Credits will be provided to all attendees.
From our All-Star Lecturer, Leigh Ann Faight, RDH
Founder & Coach, Upstream Dental Practice Coaching
"As early on in life as I can remember, I’ve always been inquisitive. Always asking why, and working to get to the bottom of things. My natural and insatiable curiosity led me to name my company Upstream. Upstream embodies my pursuit to know “why” along with my years of coaching discovery. I believe the secret to building good systems and even better teams is to go Upstream and find the source of the problem. My work with leaders and teams is centered around finding the greatest opportunities for growth! These areas of growth include: team culture, conflict resolution, business strategies, goal setting, leadership, and overall dental practice development and performance.
I started my career in dentistry more than 20 years ago, first as a dental assistant then earning my degree in dental hygiene. In 2012 I left private practice when my curiosity took over and I joined the world of dental practice management with ACT Dental. For 9 years I coached and continued learning alongside hundreds of dental teams and leaders – Coaching became my hunger and passion. In my role as Director of Coaching, I started on the lecture circuit. I love the experience of speaking to study clubs and dental associations throughout the country on the subjects of Hygiene Department Performance, Leadership, and Practice Management."
The evening will also include honoring the 2022 recipient of the Robert L. Burke DDS Memorial Volunteer Award, Dr. Steve Bader.
