ABOUT ABOUT

This year's 30th Annual Breakfast & Learn, "Are You WICKED Smarter Than Your Doctor?" with Katrina Sanders RDH, BSDH, M.Ed, RF will be of tremendous value for the entire dental team!

With the swift evolution of periodontal diagnostics comes a new wave of classifying disease and the decisions around how to approach patient care needs.  If only it were as simple as reviewing a graph and implementing it into clinical practice, however, we know that the art and science of dentistry complicates how we diagnose and subsequently treat disease.

Join periodontal hygienist and international speaker Katrina M Sanders as she hosts a case-based game show to test how wicked smart you are!  Test your knowledge on diagnostics and clinical decision-making amongst various patient cases as Katrina polls YOU to ultimately learn: are YOU wicked smarter than a board-certified periodontist? Let the games BEGIN!

4 CEs awarded with successful completion of the course.  ADACerp approved.

Course Objectives:

Review the current classification system of periodontal diseases as outlined by the American Academy of Periodontology

Apply staging and grading elements to classify patient cases

Calibrate clinical decision-making modalities against other dental team members

Enter for a chance to win case acceptance for patients with periodontitis
